Jokers, Jewels & Justice

Don’t miss the12th Annual Jokers, Jewels & Justice, an elegant evening of casino gaming that directly benefits The Center’s Legal Initiatives Project (CLIP). Founded in 1992 to oppose the Colorado’s discriminatory constitutional Amendment 2, CLIP is the only legal project in Colorado dedicated solely to the equality and dignity of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people and those with HIV. CLIP accomplishes its mission through the legal hotline, civil rights litigation and mediation, media work, and public education.

This year the event will be honoring the Colorado Anti-Violence Project as CLIP's Cooperating Non-Profit of the Year for its outstanding work around the Angie Zapata murder and constant support of her family and the LGBT Community.

The VIP reception begins at 6pm, and general admission begins at 6:30 pm with an open bar and catered appetizers. The evening’s gaming activities will include blackjack, craps and roulette tables, all run by a professional casino company. A silent auction highlights the event, and past auction items have included plane tickets, vacation destinations, luxury accommodations, fine art, tickets to cultural and sporting events, and gift certificates.
