The Denver Eagle goes green(er)

The Denver Eagle continues it's efforts to be a more environmentally friendly company.

They already use glass pints for their Beer & Liquor Bust, eliminating the need for plastic cups. One person buying one drink a week in a plastic cup, will generates 3.5 lbs of waste a year. Just 250 people will generate more than 45,000 lbs of plastic/paper cups waste this year alone.

Also, the Eagle is replacing incandescent bulbs to more energy efficient LED bulbs, helping to reduce the Eagle's carbon footprint from energy consumption. They have recently replaced our patio lights to LED bulbs; reducing consumption from 2,160 watts per hour to just 50 watts per hour on the patio alone.

The Eagle has also switched to more eco-friendly FOAM and FOG solutions. The new FOAM solution is hypo allergenic, odorless, and contain moisturizers to leave your skin feeling smooth and soft. They are also sent with less packaging and in containers containing larger amounts of post consumer products.

Be sure to stop by the Eagle and show your support for more eco-friendly practices.

The Denver Eagle's next FOAM Party is Friday, June 12th.
