Things to do in Denver when you're gay: Art for Life tonight!

The 9th Annual Art for Life - an eclectic display of fine art and benefit for Project Angel Heart - takes place tonight at 6 p.m. at the Artwork Network in the fabulous Santa Fe Arts District in Denver.

Art for Life is expected to raise $80,000 for Project Angel Heart to support the agency’s mission of delivering nutritious meals, at no cost, for adults and children battling life-threatening illness.

Art for Life features art from more than 100 locally and nationally recognized artists who have donated their creations to benefit Project Angel Heart including acclaimed artist Cheryl St. John, creator of the event poster art, 'Coffee Break' (left).

Additional participating artists include Jude Morales, Quang Ho, Michelle Torrez, Andrea Kemp, Drew Sarka, and Kim English.

In addition to the amazing art, guests will enjoy culinary creations prepared by participating restaurants/chefs: Root Down (Chef Daniel), Gateaux (Brad High), Chef Dan Brown (former Chef at Fourth Story), Chef Cruz (former Chef at Cherry Hills Country Club), and Omega Marketing (Jon Keller and Vince Fletter).

Tickets for Art for Life are $50 each or $95 for two and are available online at ProjectAngelHeart.org.
