The LGBT community won key election victories this year, including the election of more than 100 openly LGBT candidates across the country, writes Bill Smith, deputy executive director of the Gill Action Fund, for Advocate.com.
Smith advises the gay community to continue to fight for equality saying, "For those who have been panicking about this month's election returns, take a deep breath. Rumors of our demise have been greatly exaggerated."
