Manager of Events and Corporate Giving:
Opera Colorado seeks a dynamic Manager of Events and Corporate Giving. The Manager of Events and Corporate Giving plans, implements and executes all of Opera Colorado fundraising and donor benefit events with major emphasis on the annual gala. This position also works closely with the board, donors, and corporate partners. Work on all aspects of event management, including programs, venues, sponsorships, speakers, collateral materials, vendor contracts, etc., utilizing and communicating with staff and volunteers as needed.
Minimum requirements for this position would be three year’s event planning for a non-profit, experience in planning a major fundraising event, success with sales and corporate partnerships and an excitement around new corporate partners, ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms, ability to work independently and to make sound decisions and flexibility to attend special events and operas after hours.Please email a cover letter pointing out direct experience with the successful planning of a Gala or major event and success with corporate partners, your resume and salary requirements to Director of Development Dan Hanley at dhanley@operacolorado.org No phone calls please.
