Several organizations last week announced an initiative designed to increase LGBT Americans' knowledge of new health insurance options under the Affordable Care Act.
The Out2Enroll campaign, sponsored by the Center for American Progress, the Sellers Dorsey Foundation and the Federal Agencies Project, will work with partners across the country to educate the LGBT community about open enrollment and coverage options. The campaign kicked off with a White House briefing featuring presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett and Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius.
