U.K. parliament to consider ban on "conversion therapy"

British lawmaker Geraint Davies plans to introduce a bill that would ban gay "conversion therapy" for all U.K. citizens. Similar bans passed in California and New Jersey this year have focused on youths. The bill has 53 co-sponsors from across the political spectrum. 

Geraint earlier this year said conversion therapy was “based on outdated views and dodgy science.”
