Join Urban Peak's 921 Project To Support Denver's Homeless Youth!

On Tuesday, December 10 at 8am Urban Peak is inviting one and all to their downtown location (730 21st Street / 21st and Stout) to participate in the 921 Project, a special event that will draw attention to the enormous tragedy of youth homelessness in the Denver community.

According to the latest Point-In-Time survey conducted by the Metro Denver Homeless Initiative (MDHI), there are 921 youth ages 13 to 24 who experience homelessness on any given day in the Denver metropolitan area. 921. Many of them members of the GLBT community.

Urban Peak wants to show our community exactly what 921 youth looks like. They are hoping to gather 921 people together in one location and take a picture. They will be closing down the street in front of Urban Peak’s Administration Building (21st Street between Stout & California), and from the rooftop, they are going to take a picture of 921 people, each person representing one youth who sleeps on the streets of Denver.

Will you join them for the photo shoot? Will you be one of the 921?
