U.S. should institute travel ban against Gambia, LGBT groups say

LGBT advocacy groups have sent a letter urging the Obama administration to prohibit Gambian officials, including President Yahya Jammeh, from entering the U.S. over their role in passing anti-LGBT laws. 

"It is crucial that the United States take concrete action whenever countries enact discriminatory laws, and the Gambia should be no exception," the letter reads.
