Gay Help Wanted: Gill Foundation Deputy Director of OutGiving

Founded in 1994 by software entrepreneur Tim Gill, the Gill Foundation is one of the nation’s largest funders of efforts to secure full equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people.

Since 1996, Gill Foundation has fostered a passionate and committed donor network known as OutGiving, whose generosity has driven significant progress on the march toward equality. The hallmark of the OutGiving network is the biennial, invitation-only OutGiving Conference. It brings together major donors and institutional funders – both LGBTQ and allies – in a private setting to connect, learn, and exchange ideas on ways to advance equality through strategic and intentional philanthropy.

The Gill Foundation is looking for a talented, major donor fundraiser to educate, inspire, and grow the OutGiving network. The Deputy Director of OutGiving is a truly unique position to advise like-minded philanthropists on behalf of the nation’s leading funder of efforts to secure full equality for LGBTQ Americans.

The Deputy Director of OutGiving will report directly to and work closely with the Vice President of Partnerships. They will be charged with identifying new LGBTQ and allied donors to increase funding for LGBTQ equality. Responsibilities will include in-person donor cultivation, organizing donor events, prospect and data management, and developing inspiring communications.
