Inside the Winter Olympics' Pride House

The New York Times gives a video tour of the Winter Games' Pride House in Vancouver, a facility for LGBT Olympic competitors and their family and friends. The center also aims to help combat homophobia among athletes and to help arrange asylum for gay Olympians who come from nations with anti-gay laws.

2010 Winter Olympics: Gays going for gold

Blogger Michael A. Jones lists five examples of how the Winter Olympics are becoming more gay-friendly, including the presence of a quartet of openly lesbian competitors, the high profile of out former Olympic swimmer Mark Tewksbury (pictured) and the establishment of a Pride House for out athletes, coaches, friends and family.
