Houston's out Mayor Annise Parker issues broad non-discrimination policy

Houston Mayor Annise Parker has issued one of the most comprehensive LGBT-inclusive non-discrimination policies of any major U.S. city, David Taffet writes for the Dallas Voice.

"I felt it important that our written policy reflect what has long been the practice of the city, which is we do not discriminate," Parker said. Her executive order covers city employees.
