Podcast: Dragon's Sound Project

From Beta Nightclub: Constantly on the hunt for new tunes & mixes? Look no further, because the beginning of every month means a new episode of Dragon's Sound Project, Beta's official podcast. This month's epsiode features a slew of resident DJ Dragon's favorite tunes along with tracks from artists making their way to Beta throughout April. Plus, the second hour features a special one hour live guest mix from 3LAU, who just played Beta this past Thursday.

Auditions: Go-go dancers for Mile High Music Festival

Beta will be hosting the Beta Beach stage at Mile High Music Festival this year featuring dance music and lots of Colorado's top local talent.

Beta will be holding Team EZ go-go dancer auditions for the festival on Thu. Jul. 22 at Beta so if you are interested, be at the club in costume by 10pm and meet on the main floor near the stages.

Auditions will begin promptly at 11pm and you will receive free admission to the Mile High Music Festival just for trying out.

I think I might just have to throw on my Mexican wrestler garb and head on down to finally fulfill my true calling as a go-go dancer.

I love me some Tiga and he's going to be in town at Beta this Saturday, May 30. I'm scheduled 24/7 this weekend but maybe I'll try to free up an hour or two to go check it out. And I just found out that my former co-worker and current Queen of Beta, Catherine Nguyen is celebrating her birthday this weekend. Happy Birthday, Catherine!

Ring the Alarm: 2009 Colorado Firefighter Calendar Party

Meet the men of the 2009 Colorado Firefighter Calendar tomorrow night at beta nightclub in LoDo.

Jennifer Wilde of the Alice 105.9 morning show will emcee the event. The evening also includes a live auction for partygoers to bid on a date, dinner at a fire station, a ride along, a firefighter helmet signed by the Avalanche, large-format calendar photos and more. VIP tix are $75 and regular tix are $35 at the door. All proceeds benefit The Children's Hospital Burn Center.
