Connexion App Downloads Top 2,000 Downloads in 36 hours

Connexion.org, the Colorado-based gay and lesbian social networking site, announced that their iPhone app has been downloaded more than 2,000 times in the first 36 hours since it was officially launched.

The app for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad combines full profiles with multiple photos, location based online status, and Tap That functionality to exchange profile information with a tap of two devices. When you meet someone, just tap iPhones and you will be taken directly to each other’s profiles.

Connexion.org is a LGBT social networking site with over 175,000 active members worldwide.  Members of Connexion.org enjoy access to a variety of features that help bring the gay community together.  These include: daily news feeds, community message boards, calendars, instant messaging, email, party and social invites, and updates on philanthropic and LGBT community events. While not specifically a dating site, Connexion believes that anything is possible when two people chat. Membership is free.

Connexion/Baskit Underwear Model Search

Connexion is teaming up with Baskit to search for the next Baskit Underwear models and voting is now open.

40 models started the competition this past Tuesday and the winners of each pairing will move on to the next round. The contest will consist of four rounds and each round will end on a Tuesday. The three guys with the most votes in the fourth round will be featured in a Baskit marketing campaign.
