Instinct's Denver Issue: Blind Date Fourth Stop: El Potrero

Another beautiful patio and the perfect place to watch the setting sun and down the perfect margarita – El Potrero, a new Mexican restaurant with GLBT flair, delicious drinks, and killer food. Appetizers and margaritas became dessert for the Instinct Blind Daters, and here’s a hint for those of you headed El Potrero’s way – get the chips and salsa appetizer with guacamole and queso dip. It’s enough to share and you won’t leave hungry. Even after a delightful dinner, our Blind Daters chowed down and drank up. And how many margaritas did they have? They couldn’t exactly remember, but, just like a certain brand of potato chip, it’s impossible to have just one. But more drinks are on the horizon – and more Instinct, too. It took a lot of planning and preparation and I had to deal with a couple of flakes before settling on the two guys who eventually became the Instinct Blind Daters but it is finally over with and it was a huge success. Thanks to the daters who really put themselves out there for this. A blind date is a pretty nerve-wracking thing, let alone when it's going to be photographed and written up for a national magazine. They were great.
