The second coming of The Grand?

This Sunday night, February 15th from, 6-10 p.m. Colorado gay nightlife legend Larry Wegner will be playing the grand at the Mozart Lounge--1417 Krameria--in the easy to get to heart of Mayfair district.

Patrick and Lawrence (Barker Lounge, Cluttered Closet-Corner) have bought and remodeled what looks like a very cool space and I can't wait to check it out.

For years I've heard people lamenting the loss of the late, great The Grand here in Denver and it sounds like Mozart Lounge could be a worthy successor to the legacy.

I worked with Larry Wegner for nearly 10 years at Out Front Colorado and was always a fan of his talents. A writer, pianist and artist, Larry's got a new show called 'Hear the Color' opening this First Friday, September 5, at Berkeley Park Art Gallery.








In addition to 'Hear the Color,' Berkeley Park Art Gallery will be presenting some newly created botanic collages by Denver designer Sid Schetina and sculptures by Lamecia Landrum and Kathleen Sherman.
