MileHighGayGuy featured on Gay.com

I was lucky enough to have the Denver City Guide I recently did for PlanetOut.com featured on the homepage of Gay.com for a couple of days this past week.

There I am, little old Drew Wilson, right next to gay icons like Aimee Mann and Margaret Cho.

Whoo-hoo!

Margaret Cho's Beautiful to premiere on Showtime

Margaret Cho's fifth concert film, 'Beautiful', will premiere on Showtime on July 3rd.

Shot at the Long Beach Terrace Theater, Margaret's latest stand-up concert film, 'Beautiful', explores the good, bad, and downright ugly in beauty, and the unattractive politicians and marketers who shape our world.

"This show is really about how we should feel beautiful. When you feel beautiful, you're going to have more of a willingness to use your voice to speak," says Cho. "And there are a lot of dick jokes. A whole lot."

Margaret Cho to host GAYVN Awards

Ooh, Margaret Cho has been tapped to host this year's GAYVN Awards. Kathy Griffin set the bar pretty high last year, can Margaret top her for outrageousness?

Margaret Cho is a Christian

Margaret Cho takes to her blog to address 'all kinds of Christians getting mad' about her Sarah Palin comments. It's hilariously profane with a wee little nugget of Christian truth buried deep down inside.

Rock to Win: Margaret Cho

Miss Cho introduces Rufus Wainwright at HRC's DNC Rock to Win Concert in Denver.

Rock to Win Press Conference Video

Margaret Cho, Rufus Wainwright, Thelma Houston, Melissa Etheridge and Cyndi Lauper meet the press on Tuesday night for HRC's DNC concert Rock to Win.

Margaret Cho at Rock to Win Press Event

Margaret Cho was the last off the stage at the Rock to Win press event and she gave us fierce looks. She's looking superfit and very sexy these days. Much hotter in person than these annoyingly blurry pics would suggest.

Rock to Win was awesome

Just got home from the Rock to Win Concert and it was awesome. I got to attend the press conference beforehand and Melissa Etheridge, Cyndi Lauper, Margaret Cho, Rufus Wainwright and Thelma Houston were very high-energy and fired up about the concert and the DNC. I'll be posting video of the press event shortly.

The concert itself was very well-attended by locals and visitors alike.

Thelma Houston kicked things off and looked and sounded fantastic. She did a Motown medley and thrilled the crowd with an amped up version of 'Don't Leave Me This Way'.

Margaret Cho was her usual hilarious self and introduced Rufus Wainwright who dedicated his set to his boyfriend.

The highlight of the night for me was Cyndi Lauper's performance. She sang her new song "Set Your Heart" and gave a rousing political speech before launching into "What's Going On" and "True Colors". She finished up with "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" and even brought her son, Declan, out to dance onstage.

Melissa Etheridge ended the show and absolutely everybody in the place had a fantastic time.

Stay tuned for more pics and video.

The line for the concert was HUGE!

Cam with Margaret Cho today

Margaret is going to be announcing the Fan Club Pre-Sales and taking your questions about her tour and new TV show LIVE today on her website, MargaretCho.com, at 2:30 p.m. Should be a hoot. You can ask her questions or just say howdy.

Margaret Cho is one of my favorite comedians. I've interviewed her numerous times over the years and something strange would occur almost every single time I spoke with her. One time she was talking to me while she was getting a massage and she dozed off in the middle of a sentence. Another time, she was walking through her house and talking to me on her cellphone and she fell down a flight of stairs and was quiet for a very long time and I thought she had died.

Her new series 'The Cho Show' premieres on VH1 this Thursday but if you can't wait, you can check out the entire first episode at LogoOnline.com.

Margaret Cho speaks out about California same-sex marriage affirmation

Here's what Margaret Cho has to say about it:

Oh Califonia! How proud I am of you! I was born in San Francisco, and although I always loved my fair city, during the 80s I was seriously torn up because secretly, I knew I would eventually have to move to Los Angeles to begin my show business career. I had a deep crush on all of Southern California. Isn't it funny when you can have a love affair with a network of small cities connected by freeways? So I cheated on San Francisco with Los Angeles, and I ended up marrying LA, but now I keep reigniting my San Francisco passion by returning time and time again.

Now I see you can love two cities, and you can love a whole state even more. Now that California has gay marriage, I feel like the whole state has been upgraded. The traffic seems lighter, cars moving faster, breezier through the streets because everyone is in a good mood making wedding plans in their head. It is unseasonably hot right now, but it isn't unbearable, because the notions of freedom and equality are keeping us cool. The right to gay marriage feels like what it is called – just 'right' – and I can't imagine living anywhere else right now!! yeah!!! And pride is going to rock this year – especially in San Francisco and Los Angeles - so if you live in another state, please come for the party!!!
