Tea Party official booted for anti-gay remarks

Tim Ravndal, who was president of the Big Sky Tea Party Association in Montana, was removed from his position after posting remarks on Facebook that appeared to condone violence against gays and lesbians.

"We are extremely disappointed by Mr. Ravndal's commentary. The discussion in that Facebook conversation is entirely outside the position of the Big Sky Tea Party," wrote the group's chairman, Jim Walker.
