Denver Democrats Century Club Celebration

The Democratic Party of Denver continues to create a place to advance upcoming leaders, host party gatherings, provide valuable Democratic education, outreach, and community building to local districts and neighborhoods, and Get Out the Vote in every single important election, from the School Board and City Council elections coming up in November, through 2010 and beyond.

The group's entire budget is gained through donations from core party activists and supporters, and with a great event coming up for donors next week, you might want to take a moment to consider joining the Century Club.

The Century Club is a core group of devoted Democrats who support the Denver Dems annually by contributing $100 or more each year.

If you are a member, or become one by July 14th, you are invited to join the Denver Dems at a special, exclusive event for Century Club Members. For more information check out www.denverdemocrats.net.

This Summer the Denver Dems want you!

As we mark the much-anticipated return of summer with the Summer Solstice this weekend, the Democratic Party of Denver is filling these longest days of the year with ample opportunity to rejuvenate your sense of community spirit.

Whether its joining a parade celebrating everything from Juneteenth to Gay Pride, attending campaign kickoff parties and fundraising events in house districts around Denver, taking the time to enhance your education about current events by participating in a special Town Hall meeting or a regular monthly meeting in your house district, or rolling up your sleeves for everything from a local neighborhood clean-up to a national day of community service around the theme of healthcare, it's an excellent time to up the ante on your level of participation on the grassroots level.

In other Denver Dems' news, the Executive Committee of the Democratic Party of Denver took a stand on Immigration Reform at its most recent monthly meeting. Calling it "one of the foremost Civil Rights issues we face in the United States and in Colorado today," the Executive Committee called on elected officials to pass comprehensive immigration reform without delay.
