Return to The Lair

The thrills and chills of The Lair return for a third season on here! beginning Friday, September 4.

The first season of the series, set in a small town, revolved around suspicions that arose when young men turned up dead with vicious, mysterious wounds on their necks. Determined to solve the crimes, a young journalist, Thom (David Moretti), discovered clues leading him to a private gentlemen’s club called “The Lair,” a lust-filled and erotically energized environment where patrons are able to fulfill their deepest and darkest desires. As he closed in on the truth, he became ensnared by a coven of vampires led by the enigmatic Damian (Peter Stickles). As the series wore on, we were introduced to a bevy of new and interesting characters such as Dr. Jake Waldman, a botanist with a mysterious plant that seems to have a mind of its own and Ian, a wandering lost soul with a dark secret…he’s a werewolf!

More after the jump.

The blood-tingling third season of The Lair adds even more mystery and intrigue to the sleepy island town inhabited by a mix of vampires and other supernatural residents. Sexy new characters bring more tumultuous turmoil to the island and leave our cast of characters scrambling to survive. Revenge remains a constant theme, weaving its way throughout the third electrifying season. Characters old and new, each with their own agenda, have arrived on the island to wreak havoc. The race is on to see who will wind up with the power on the island and which of The Lair’s characters will survive!

The third season of The Lair will see the return of featured cast members Moretti, Stickles, Colton Ford, Johnny Hazzard, Dylan Vox, and Brian Nolan, among others. Additionally, horror and action star Sybil Danning, last seen in Quentin Tarantino’s Grindhouse, brings her star power to the small screen as The Lair’s enigmatic Frau Von Hess.

here! TV in January

From documentaries about Broadway and Massachusetts' fight for marriage, to endearing family comedies, to touching love stories, January is chock full of new films.

ShowBusiness: The Road to Broadway deftly chronicles the entire process of putting together a Broadway musical from the early stages of casting, all the way through to the nail-biting of The Tony Awards. In Breakfast With Scot, Eric, an ex-hockey player, and his boyfriend become the guardians of a young boy who is anything but athletic.

With personal stories and political anecdotes, Saving Marriage documents the uphill battle as Massachusetts struggled to answer the question "Should gay and lesbian couples have the right to marry?" Tru jeopardizes her friendship with the closeted football player when she sets up her school's first Gay-Straight Alliance in the heartwarming film Tru Loved.

The month wraps up with director Shamim Sarif's beautiful film, The World Unseen, a moving look at the hardships of unconventional relationships during the beginning of Apartheid in South Africa. To find out when these films make their television debut, click here! and choose your provider.
