Hamburger Mary's fundraiser for Lucia Guzman

A fundraiser to elect openly gay Lucia Guzman to Colorado Senate, District 34 will be held on March 3 at Hamburger Mary's.

The event is hosted by Anthony Aragon, Martha Eubanks, Nita Henry, Tish Maes, Dave Montez, Jesse Ogas, Peggy O’Neill, and Carl Schmidt and will feature special remarks by Mayor John Hickenlooper.

There is a suggested donation of $50 (make checks payable to: Lucia Guzman for Colorado). This would be a wonderful opportunity to add another important LGBT voice to the Colorado State Senate.

Thanks to all the great gay-owned and gay-friendly businesses that helped make our Instinct Blind Date a success

It took a lot of planning and preparation and I had to deal with a couple of flakes before settling on the two guys who eventually became the Instinct Blind Daters but it is finally over with and it was a huge success. Thanks to the daters who really put themselves out there for this. A blind date is a pretty nerve-wracking thing, let alone when it's going to be photographed and written up for a national magazine. They were great.

And I couldn't have done it without the good folks at:
Melt
Starz/Cinema Q
Hamburger Mary's
El Potrero
BoyzTown

Thanks so much!

Sneak Peek: Hamburger Mary's Patio

I grabbed a sneak peek Hamburger Mary's patio and I have to say, I was impressed. They've obviously put a ton of time and money into it and I can very easily see it becoming the place to be in the months ahead.
