Colorado Gives Day kick off party at JR's to benefit BCAP

Colorado Gives Day is a statewide, non-profit effort to raise $1 million, online, in 24 hours, on December 8th. There will be a kick-off party at JR's on December 7 beginning at 7pm.

Boulder Colorado AIDS Project is thrilled to be participating in Colorado Gives Day and is working hard to meet their goal of raising $30,000 in one day.

Dan Hanley, director of development at BCAP says, "We at Boulder County AIDS Project have set a goal to raise $30,000 in that 24 hours, something that we have never done. This is an incredible opportunity for us to show how vital our work is and how we and other HIV/AIDS groups can do so much more when we have the financial support of our community. BCAP has generous support from The Gill Foundation and The Brett Family Foundation in matching many of the donations, and we feel that our community will help us surpass our goal.”

The Mission of Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) is twofold: to provide support, advocacy and education to those in our community who are infected with or affected by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and to serve as an outreach and information center to prevent further transmission of HIV and the resulting Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).
