OUT on DVD: Charlies Angels Complete Series

Charlie's Angels superfan Mike Pingelof CharliesAngels.com gives us a sneak peek at the upcoming
Sony Entertainment DVD release of the CHARLIE'S ANGELS COMPLETE SERIES. 
This DVD release contains all five seasons of the series starring Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson,  Jaclyn Smith, Cheryl Ladd, Shelley Hack and Tanya Roberts. This is the first time Season Five has been released onto DVD.

The Box set will hit stores on Sept 25, 2012 and current cost on Amazon.com for pre-order is $50.00 dollars.

The art on this series is really amazing even if, for me, the storylines have been a little hit-or-miss.

Books: The Q Guide to Charlie's Angels

Author and superfan Mike Pingel (who also runs CharliesAngels.com) has written The Q Guide to Charlie's Angels, a fun and frothy little somethin' somethin' about the gayest show of the 1970s. I'll be interviewing Pingel in the next few days or so and we'll be able to get all sorts of Charlie's Angels fun facts straight from the horse's mouth.



Of course, the awesome cover of the Angels in their classic pose is drawn by cartoonist extraordinaire, Glen Hanson of Chelsea Boys fame. I wonder whatever happened to The Chelsea Boys? It was a great comic strip and I know there were plans to make a cartoon out of it but I haven't heard anything new in a couple years at least.
