NFL star: If Britney Spears can do it, why can't gays?
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo has become one of the few professional athletes to speak out in favor of LGBT rights.
In a piece for The Huffington Post, Ayanbadejo asked, "If Britney Spears can party it up in Vegas with one of her boys and go get married on a whim and annul her marriage the next day, why can't a loving same-sex couple tie the knot?"

The legacy of Harvey Milk
The groundbreaking work of Harvey Milk, who was one of the nation's first openly gay elected officials, continues to resonate, according to Chuck Wolfe, president and CEO of The Victory Fund.
The life of Milk, the recipient of a Presidential Medal of Freedom, offers key lessons on "perseverance, pride and telling the truth about who we really are," Wolfe wrote recently on The Huffington Post.

Guide to watching the election results
Huffington Post has an excellent guide to watching the election results tonight.
And locally, Charlie's is hosting the Colorado Stonewall Democrats starting at 6 p.m. and Hamburger Mary's is also having a big to-do hosted by Connexion.org. I'll probably be bouncing between the two for most of the evening. Exciting stuff.
